Overview

High quality air filtration with a lower air flow rate when compared to our

Designed to ventilate your canopy, helping to increases the efficiency of fridges and accessories, lowering interior temperatures and reducing moisture and mold growth. 

Now with upgraded 38mm high CFM high static pressure fan!

This product includes the mounting hardware, filter, bolts and cutting template with a 12V 120mm fan to increase air flow. 

Recommendations and configurations

There are multiple configurations as the fan can be flipped to exhaust air:

  1. Single Vent inlet with fan - Positive pressure 
  2. Double Vent, double fan, dual inlet - Significant positive pressure (recommended if your canopy seals are poor or have already installed a passive vent)
  3. Double Vent, double fan, inlet and outlet - Neutral pressure (one fan flipped). This increases the air exchange rate inside the canopy, effectively replacing the hot air inside the canopy with fresh air from outside at a faster rate. This is good if you have airtight seals and no holes.

For larger canopies it is recommended that 2 vents are installed. 

Positive pressure inside the canopy will reduce dust ingress as the air is pushed out of any air gap that would otherwise allow dust in.

Materials: UV Stable, PETG Plastic, stainless steel hardware. 

Install: 

1. Decide on your install location and scribe the rectangle cut out and the 4 main bolt holes on the mounting surface.

2. Drill all holes and cut out within marked areas.

3. Fix the fan to the interior cover with the supplied bolts (pre-installed). 

4. Install the external cover.

5. Place the filter into the interior mount (pre-installed), install the interior mount and install the M5 Bolts. Ensure not to overtighten. (The M5 screws need to be tight enough to seal the filter to the inside of the canopy, but not so tight that the plastic cracks).

6. Once installed, wire in the fan. 

Note:

  1. Do not over tighten bolts as the plastic will crack under significant load. Nylon Lock nuts so you can have confidence your mount wont rattle free. 
  2. This product is 3D printed and will have visible layer lines from the Manufacturing process. These can be sanded and painted, however, it is not required.
